As a kid I remember seeing graffiti on a bus stop that read:
“Who the F@[¥ is Mott the Hoople?”
I thought it was a funny phrase. And I had no idea. Turns out they were pretty cool:

T-bird and the 360 (double stack head) - bass nirvana :bassist: When I got my '63 in '74, I related it more to MTH than the Who.

did four top 40 45s last night and never swapped bass...about 1/3 fingers and 2/3 pick using a Dunlop .73 nylon.....always amazes me the variety of attack tones by just playing with the attack angle of the pick on the rounds...

You mean Bohemian Crapsody? What upset me the most about that movie was that they somewhat put Freddie’s dirty laundry out there but portrayed all the other band members like angels in comparison.

I read The Dirt when it came out and just watched the flick. From what I remember they did a decent job but if you are a reader I HIGHLY recommend the book. It is a super fast read and lots of fun.

As for the movie, I have issues with some of the casting but they absolutely nail Tommy Lee and Nikki IMO.

Vince actor is shorter than Mars actor, and Mars actor just didn’t work for me.
Ya think the fella on the right with the white Bird and big boots was an influence on me?
Other than being on the wrong side of the stage? Naaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.

Thanks, just checked out the eBook from my local library. I'm more interested in 'The Heroin Diaries' but will have to look elsewhere for that.
