Thunderbird Club

His cars were like Hot Wheels 1:1 scale

I think I assembled the Revell Munster-mobile kit. E"BD"Ross's models (Surfite, Beatnik Bandit, Tweedy Pie, Road Agent, Mysterion and Outlaw) as well. Used to win trophies for my model cars when I was a kid. (woo-hoo) :)

Plan 9 did a tune called Mysterion- about the car- during my time with them, it's on the "A Tonic of Pufferfish" cd...
Yeah I agree, the Batmobile was the sh!tz!

And Rob Zombie did Dragula and the car does feature in the video if not the lyrics. And Liz Phair did a song Batmobile (no batmobile in the video).

The batmobile is cool, but I would rather have the monkeemobile or the dragula.

You'd think being able to hold a tune would be a minimum for people putting themselves forward. Suppose those interminable telly singing competitions are evidence to the contrary.
There’s a lot more to singing with a real rock band that people don’t realize until they try. Understanding song structure, timing, hearing musical cues, and being able to work in a loud musical environment are a few things they often have no clue about.

Roth's Beatnik Bandit was always my favorite. I remember building that model as a kid (and then a week later blowing it up with a fire cracker).

There were so many cool custom hot rods back then. Of the TV show bunch I gotta go with Drag-ula...

Yah, the Monkeemobile is the sh--z. Just seeing the pic I posted reminded me of how awesome it is. TV shows just don't do that anymore. Maybe the last was the Cowsills bus...
