Thunderbird Club

I don't know how many of them Hamer produced, as I understand it they.re kind of rare. Do you have and idea on production totals?
As a thought, you might email a few of the more notable shops and request that they let you know if they come across one. The guys at The Bass Shop | Selected Used and Vintage Bass Guitars are really good about that kind of thing.

No sir I'm not sure. Nocturnal had mentioned to me earlier that supposedly there were only 250 made with that body style - Guitar/Bass combined. I appreciate all of the help! I'll keep that in mind and continue my search. No kidding though it's been an every day thing for a really, really long time. :roflmao:

Many stores here in Austin are. Or were. I expect they still are. From local to GCs.

And the charge just went up to possession with intent to sell!

In Canada that would be possession with intent to not share with the Prime Minister.

I dunno. Five simultaneous out-of-sync versions of Smoke on the Water would make it tricky to sleep or whatever.

It wouldn't be 5 renditions of SotW out of sync, several would also be out of tune, out of key, and learned from incorrect tabs.

Don’t pay any attention to the end of the tape measure where it doesn’t appear to be at the edge of the body in some pics. The end popped up but the measurements are accurate as shown.

Hope this helps.

Larry, could I get one more measurement? The thinest part of the bass bodies, middle to middle. Oh, also pickup spacing on the ss? I can give these to the luthier. Thank you.

I stand corrected. A FB is on my one of these days wish list that probably won't happen until I sell something else. And that won't happen.
I came close to buying a Pelham Blue one when they produced an inexpensive special run. It was, well..., inexpensive. Kinda Squieresque in build and sound quality. Decided to pass.
