Thunderbird Club

Took back the two Behringer pedals today. It was an experiment, and when doing good (well designed) experiments you can learn as much from "failure" as you can from "success". So I picked up a used MXR bass distortion. We'll see how that sounds. The Yoot Oobs I watched have me convinced that I would prefer it to the Boss bass distortion. But how it works with everything else is always the question, thus the experiments.

This one?

It's RAT based, designed with Fuzzrocious, which will make it excellent and gnarly.

Yes they do!

A while back someone asked about TI Flats and if they sound good on a T-Bird. I put some TIs on my 64 Epi Embassy (Bat-Bird) today and it sounded really, really good. I was impressed. Really impressed. Thick and full, with some nice clearness on top when playing higher. I just bought some GHS Progressives for it due to the Alloy 52, but they won't arrive till Tues. But, I may go back to the TIs they sounded so good. Also found myself using more of the neck pup only when not using a pick. Thunderous punch like a T-bird should sound.

I never did hear back from Jason, or from my inquiry on Fret Nation, I figure he may just be busy.

You too, huh? Still waiting on two replies from over a week ago. Used to never have nothing but great experience with him. But when you get too busy to do business, that problem will fix itself in a way you won't like.

He's got a bigger boat, more lines to keep trim. He'll get it together.

Brothers and sisters with tatts, I’m considering this as my first for the right shoulder. Am I asking for trouble with all that black?

And yes, Bird logo will be imprinted at some point...

I would consider it if it was the actual size of a pick. In fact.., I may just have this done on me left wrist... (would be my first also) :)

Testing, one-two, testing... (yah, shoe... sue me) ;)
