Cool! My 'bitter half' and daughter hate spiders. I'll try to save them(except Black Widows and Brown Recluse(s)

Took back the two Behringer pedals today. It was an experiment, and when doing good (well designed) experiments you can learn as much from "failure" as you can from "success". So I picked up a used MXR bass distortion. We'll see how that sounds. The Yoot Oobs I watched have me convinced that I would prefer it to the Boss bass distortion. But how it works with everything else is always the question, thus the experiments.

Here’s some video from my cover band’s last pub gig. Those are Cobalt flats on the VP. The LED lights seem to cause strobing within iPhone cameras.
I didn’t notice In the moment, but Karen is playing trumpet and tambourine at the same time.

I worked with a trumpet player in Miami that did that. He also would play trumpet with his left hand and a keyboard-in concert pitch-with his right. We suggested he buy a short broom and some Vaseline and he could sweep the stage while he was at it.:smug:

I have seen my son play trumpet and keys at the same time. I am a proud parent. You may not have noticed.

You might want to check out the Damnation MDB-1. I'm surprised how well it ended up working for me. The online demos have nothing to do with how I'm running it. It's also got internal trim pots for changing some stuff, like the gain range. At relatively low internally by default, I'm happy with the actual Gain set at around 11:00. It's a very unique pedal with stuff like its Depth knob.

Brothers and sisters with tatts, I’m considering this as my first for the right shoulder. Am I asking for trouble with all that black?

And yes, Bird logo will be imprinted at some point...
I was considering a bass clef tattoo, but I noticed when wearing a bass clef T-shirt that it looks like a frowning face from some angleso_O

That’s some serious double tasking! You have to think in C and Bb at the same time...

beats dealing with these....the other day at the drummer's house up in the mountains..

I see those from time to time. I have been in this house for 10 years and found one late last year for the first time ever. It was basically dead already when I found it so no real danger unless I had stepped on it without shoes. From what I hear the sting hurts and its weird when you feel the poison moving thru your body, but the ones we see the most here are not one of the deadly ones.

I just finished my biennial first aid certification course at the aquarium. It's amazing how the smallest things are the most deadly. The box jellyfish is really small, but its sting can cause death in a human in just a few minutes.
