Thunderbird Club

I've seen some big roaches - I saw a kid once (people I worked for) that had a really big one in an empty fish tank as a 'pet'... I prefer the spider.
My elder daughter had two tanks of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. They're non-invasive, can't break your skin and are actually kind of cool.

TR6 is a fun little car. Since you live in CA pay attention to what year you buy. I believe 1975 and older are exempt from CA smog requirements. The 1976 and newer models would have to pass the ever tightening smog requirements, which can be nearly impossible for some of those older cars.

An interesting back story...
There are a total of about 5 guys that combined account for around 95% of all the movie trailer voices we've all heard and grown up with. A couple of them are close friends. It's always a bit unnerving when we get together at the bar for drinks and start talking. Everybody around us recognizes the voices but can't place the faces, drives eavesdroppers nutz.

Over drinks one night I dared my "voice" buddy's to pull all five guys together and make a short YouTube clip. They took me up on the dare. I bet you'll recognize every voice in this clip...

it's a 74. as you mention, an important consideration over here..

when the wife realizes it's a pain in the a55 to drive, it will conveniently become my son's first car...there's a method to this madness...:D

My first car was a convertible - (not mine but exactly like it)

Beautiful color. My uncle drove a goldish color hardtop one for years. It was my cousin’s first car. She promptly totaled it in ‘68.

My brother and I shared it - it was 10 years old when we got it. Owned by my dad's bosses daughter so in like-new condition. A very heavy car - not exactly what we wanted then but my dad got it for pretty cheap. I enjoyed the top-down aspect but wanted something sportier.

I'm like you about not going out of my way to eliminate any living thing, which usually comes down to adverse contact with bugs of one sort or another. Sometimes our interface is unavoidable. As a cyclist I occasionally run-into/have mid-air collision with bees and wasps. Two living things impacting each other in the same place at the same time with no intent. With bees it's "ouch!", a bit of swelling/redness and that's the extent of it - been stung many times with no real issues. Once one flew in my mouth, I spit it out and it stung my arm like a dart! But twice it was some sort of wasp - felt like a hot icepick and led to major swelling on my face to the point of looking like a cabbage-patch doll. It required a trip to the emergency room and steroid shots. Living in the Bay Area close to the ocean, there isn't a lot of bugs really. Ants, flies and bees mostly and mosquito's are nearly non-existent here. Not like the mid-west, but I do miss fire-flies and cicada's.
Fireflies aka lightening bugs, are among the few things I miss about living in Ohio.

Excellent! (Well, with the exception of the video quality).
Horn section was tight, singer was spot on her vocals and stage presence even when not singing. Bass solo was great. Transition to Tequila was a neat touch and perfectly pulled off. Crowd was dancing and I assume drinking. All in all, a perfect performance! Well played sir to you and the band.

Always love to see these live videos since I'm not playing out anymore. I get to live vicariously through others that way. Everybody, keep em coming!

Thanks! I’m pretty fortunate to have this band of folks to play with.
