Well, they were kind of an important part of the LA scene in the late seventies/early eighties so I have a soft spot for them. That song was, well...anyway saw them live a few times and enjoyed them.I'm the crazy one here.

Good stuff. If you're into this sort of grind, I really think you owe it to yourself to try out the Damnation MBD-1. It's pretty unique in its flavor.Well, the kiddo had her music lesson this evening. So I took some time to go through L&M and see what's new. Well, this is what is new:

I played around with it. Wow! It is a great drive pedal. Blend a clean signal into a grindy signal. It is unbelievably good (ok, it is probably believable).
But I also tried

It isn't as good as the Geddy pedal, but it is also really good 95% as good as the YYZ.
But the YYZ is C$270 and the Hotwax is C$140. The Geddy pedal is not C$130 better; to my mind, the Geddy pedal is up to C$50 better.
The MXR M89 Bass Overdrive isn't working for me. The clean blend does not bring in enough clean for me and the drive knob gives way too much way too soon. So, I think it is going back for a Hotwax.
Not quite like that. I don't get appearances like that, either. What a shame. It is substitute tobacco or some car or some other ad for things I don't want and would not use.View attachment 3444214 Does anyone have problems with their Like button disappearing at times?
Through the 126, not the 360.Yeah. I looked at their website a few weeks back. Saw some nice straps. Was just window shopping. Signed up for notifications and got a $50 off code the other day. Ordered a sand colored one to go with a specific bass. 4” wide. California made on the coast a little south of our buddy
Can’t imagine anything sounding weak through your ACC.
Not that I know of right now, but we are here to enable. Finding one for you is a mission we must take on.Is anyone selling a shortscale thunderbird?
Man! How I wanted one of those! Instead I got one of these
I went into GC last night and in the used section they had this beauty. Not a Thunderbird, but it's little brother a 2018 Gibson Firebird Studio. I've always wanted a Firebird to match my 3 Thunderbirds, but never liked the mini humbuckers that most of them have. This one has my favorite, P90s. It has a great slim neck, and sounds fantastic. I put a deposit down, and will pick it up in a couple of weeks. When I get it I'll take a pic of all my 'birds together.

I'm not a guitarist(ex-saxist, play[ed] some keyboard), but I bought-and later sold-a NR Firebird that matched my NR TBird.I always wanted a Firebird, but now bass consumes my music time so I’m content with Thunderbirds.
