Sure sure goat boy. Because goats are so picky about what they eat...Ya I hate finding out my food is plastic the hard way too!
But requires moving hands off the keyboard...

Thanks fasterpussycat. I have seen that people have moved the strap button to the heel of the neck. Hoping that takes care of the neck dive. The trade will be done tomorrow and I am real excited about playing a T-bird for the very first time. Thanks for the tip on the strap button placement and the machine heads.Move the strap button to the neck heel (they were designed to hang that way) and if it is still a little unbalanced, consider a set of these (or similar):

I appreciate the advice. I am pretty much a chameleon when it comes to instruments. I am going to adopt it and give it a good home. The price is "ok", my best advice is to really try it out, much as I love Thunderbirds, this basic model was difficult for me to get along with - the neck and to a lesser degree the pickups being the issues for me. There are others here that really like these, so my experience may not be typical.

...and you're right, much quicker than the PhillO method of typing brackets and text and back slashes. I'm using an iPad or iPhone for all my entries so no keyboard to deal with in the traditional sense. I'm thinking Phill may have cut his teeth on DOS. I'm more of a Mac OS guy and always have been. Thanks for the streamlined hack. BTW - Glad to see you back in the fray.
PS - PhillO, I'm just ribbin ya, I know you have thick skin.
