Everyone loves it's rumble. It is very cool. My buddies at the music school I attend get a kick out of it.
That's so cool man! I'd love to own one of them one day. I am definetly sure that one day I'll have nothing but 'birds
That's what I'm going for. I'd like to buy a basket case Pro-V on the cheap and turn it into a 6 string TBird as my first custom TBird.

Prince Liam, I have to tell ya, it's a fricken killer bass! I don't take out that often but we have three shows on 6/27, 28 and 29 the Jackson will get played
It's one of only 56 made, I got it from fellow TB'er Saltymonkey, Japanese craftsmanship - it's beautiful!
My green basses, the Jackson a rebuilt Orville and my re-finned '76

The green ones are all mine, of the HO's no. The Greco, BaCH, Burny and Ibanez yes. Tho a couple have left, right now there's about a dozen around the house.

Wouldn't it just be easier to get an Epi Classic Pro-IV in alpine white and mod it with clover tuners and maybe make it string through body...?

Prince Liam, the Epi Classic is a better choice than the Burny, having compared the two the Epi is better in every way and it costs $300.00 less. The Burny has the MOTHER of all headstocks tho

As I said it's just the fact of owning them all!
My Goth Bird is Chinese, I wouldn't change the pickups in it. Very aggressive and versatile. The pickups in my sunburst Bird are great as well. I need to do a side by side comparison.

How rare are these, Mark? Kind of looks like a Studio 4 but it isn't I don't think. The listing says 22 frets but there's only 20 of course. oh, and look at that PG... wrapping the P/U's. Never saw that before.
2012 Gibby Short Scale. Nice basses. Great neck on these. Same ceramic pickups as the full scale. Balances perfect, no neck dive. The finish is unfortunate, matte black, they didn't bother filling the body so you can see the pockmarks. I was told by a Gibson rep that they had to do this to keep the price down. At their SRP of $1,500 I can see why they had to cut corners somewhere. Great case, even if abused should keep the bass safe for many years. I put in a StellarTone and changed it to V/B/T. Getting ready to strip it and refinish it in Arctic white. I just love white T-Birds.
If it's the one I was looking at that is a good price. Well worth the money.
