I don't drink anymore, but it was a sin to put "candy" in bourbon and make it taste like something else. Good bourbon needs no.....anything. (Pure subject taste I know.) I like stuff in my coffee and people are often quick to tell me I don't really like coffee if I have to put flavor in it. I'm kind of that with with bourbon. But I'm not a snob about it. People like what they like. I just liked the taste of bourbon with a little tad of bourbon. Sometimes too much.

I don't actually live to serve; I live to amuse myself. Sometimes there is collateral amusement.
And all this stuff about bourbon. I've moved over to Vodka. Off the beer and Scotch.

Good vodka is good - avoid cheap vodka or cheap clear liquors in general.
Did our little show yesterday. The old folks seemed to like it. Well they said so, and just about all of them sang along or clapped etc at some point. Taking that as a win.
Side note, some of our places are starting to ask for a letter stating we all have current police checks and the like.
Which is ok because we can get that from head office. We all had to register and supply a ‘working with children’ check, they did police checks on us all. I guess it’s the way the world is going.

It sucks, but there is so much abuse.
