Thunderbird is an interesting bit of American iconography. Based on native American mythology of some kind of giant bird of prey.

OMG It could have been ANYTHING. I'm generally the one in my band who gets most aggro when I play. Judging by the grimace, I was probably doing my best impression of Bon Scott, singing Highway to Hell.
We've made some major song changes since then, but that one has become a staple in our show.
