Thunderbird Club

Great arrangement by some top notch players I've never heard of but will certainly look up!

However, when I see the song title "Iron Man", I expect it to sound not exact but a lot like Iron Man, not background music for some car chase scene from a 1970's Clint Eastwood film.

Don't get me wrong, I loved their song and intend to try to find more of their music, but I'd be sadly dissapointed if I was expecting an Iron Man cover and heard that. JMHO YMMV

You say that like it's a bad thing :D

....all original...no modifications...

wow - ... wait ... the red one - that's a '66 ... that's the one I'd want! I was looking at the order you typed it thinking the red one was the 2012... never mind....

Annnd, "POP!", goes another balloon.
On a serious note, Reverb posted that CITES has passed a musical instrument exemption to take effect in November 2019.

love playing here......right next to the iconic 17th hole...

If memory serves, @Miles_ONeal knows/knows of/is local to these guys. I am quite impressed with Brown Sabbath's funk versions of Black Sabbath. They occupy a number of spots in my "Interesting Remakes" play list. I love an interesting take on a song.

That horn section has some well used gear. Just look at that rusty trombone!

I Love Old Hagstroms! On my GAS list. Please post a pic! There were a couple kids around me in the seventies whose dads got them when they were serving in Germany in the sixties. Well built, kinda wonky but pretty solid bridge/trem, interesting pickups, and nice sound. You can get one now for around $750 which, adjusted for inflation, is probably close the what they were new.
This started life as a Model One (a.k.a., Kent). Two single coil pickups with on/off switch per pickup, a tone switch, a mute switch, and a volume pedal. The pickups were too thin sounding and low volume for me. Bought it for $20 off a guy at my favorite music store. Vinyl on the back was falling off, etc.
Now it's phase/off for each pickup, series/parallel, volume, and tone.
A teenager borrowed it. When it came back, a saddle was missing with a sticker saying "IOU". But needs a better bridge, anyway.
Like I said, this guitar is why I'm comfortable working on my THUNDERBIRDS.
The last photo is next to my THUNDERBIRD IV for size comparison.

In that case where do you get licked. Or should we let our imaginations run wild?

The best covers songs, the band puts their own spin on each song. If I wanted to hear the original note for note, I would stay home and listen to the album.

Thunderbird!

Oh, yeaaahhh. When I heard them live, this song sounded completely different. But similar in that it was built on Iron Man. Great band. If you get a chance you should go see them. Despite their lack of THUNDERBIRD.

When I heard them it was still different, but a lot more obvious that it was IM.

When I was first looking at basses in mid-late 60's, I saw the Haggies in my local (mom & pop) music store. My image is of a red bass with the moulded plastic pg with what looked like a speaker grill. (like that guitar) They were out of my price-range but I liked their groovy look.

I wish I knew them! I have briefly said hi after a show but that was it. Sad face.

Rusty trombone? It's dipped in Brownout!
