That’s cool! But @rickwebb, I’m curious, what do you cruise-touring guys do when you’re facing a storm like Dorian? Must be quite exciting! Must have stories to tell.

Thank You your Grace But we actually came back in early August. So we were nowhere near the storm impact area.
And just between us merry band of Birdbrains, i think i'm pretty much done with the Cruise Ship Gig Lifestyle.
Too much time away from my wife and home life. At least i can say i did it.

Quick, somebody with editing software needs to put a cool looking Thunderbird in his arms before we get another visit by those that monitor for our own good.

I did 2 cruises. I suspect they were a little different than yours. These 2 ships:

They've both got big stages.

Epiphone made small detail mistakes. The volume and tone knobs should be gold, not black. That can be easily fixed. One other one is the placement of the output jack. Keeping it on the edge instead of the top of the bass makes sense, but I'm nit picking.

The bass came with gold knobs, (I think all VPs do) but there’s not enough contrast for my middle aged eyes to see the numbers on those, so I put on black ones.

The output jack on the edge works well for me. I’m usually running wireless, so I use a 1ft cord with angle connector out of the bass into the wireless transmitter in the pouch on the strap.
It’s nice and clean with a low probability of catching on something.

Sounds like they might actually be useful to you.
