You will be a star.I'll live.
In latest Thunderbird playing news, we have 12 hours rehearsal time booked between now and our potential public humiliation. No time to get nine songs ready. We'll have to make do with seven. The guitarist's Dual Terror head is a wonderful thing.
Ever get into any of Dan Deacon's stuff?
He's all wave generators, oscillators, filters... a bank of boxes with knobs and a great spill of brightly colored cables. And a mic. And a drummer... last time.Never heard it until now, thanks! Really clever stuff!

? I thought she already is.Never heard it until now, thanks! Really clever stuff!
Well she needs to be in the minds of this new audience. Really all she'll have to do is show up... so yeah, you're right.? I thought she already is.

Sure. And **ll will freeze over. The proper color for any Thunderbird. Heather poly is the same as burgundy mist metallic. I suppose the Flamingo should be called heather poly, but burgundy mist metallic was what Cadillac called that color. So, that's what it is. Either way, It's great to see that there's another Thunderbird out there that's the same color. Gibson should offer that color on Thunderbirds now, in my opinion.
View attachment 3545948 Busy weekend. Just got to the birds for a workout. A sumptuous THUNDERBIRD Sunday!
By saying that, you are giving Gibson/Epiphone license to chose not to produce Thunderbirds in the vibrant heather/bmm and pelham blue we all want. Through sustainedSure. And **ll will freeze over.
Currently the beater bass - black and blue. What are the plans for the blue one?

Yep. Mini clover Hipshots. Lollers, Thunderbuckers or Lulls. Probably Babicz chrome; haven’t ruled out Hipshot. But I’ll tell you what, this bird is really nice as is.What are the plans for the blue one?

I just finished the laminate on a eurorack case for my brother's ever expanding and ever more confusing (to me) supply of modules. It will have two halves with three racks each. I do not remember how long the racks are but the case is about 27" wide. You now know just as much as you did a minute ago.Stepped away for what seemed like a couple days and fell behind by 1,400 posts?!
Not much new to report, 2002 Gibson reverse ‘Bird is still my daily driver. Played an outdoor festival with really bad power that took out my 18” speaker. Got about 1,000 shows out of that speaker, so no real complaints. Driving home from Memphis and through some rabbit hole watched an entire live concert of Steve Hackett from 1980. I knew every single song but have no memory of ever owning a Steve Hackett record. That was odd. Couple live ‘Bird pics
