Thunderbird Club

I really kick myself for selling my black BaCH NR II, I put a Lull pup in it as well, really had "that tone".
Your Gracious Majesty,
Please do tell the Queen's Court of the tales of your fair maiden Lull BaCH - how she slipped from your noble grasp many years ago and how she varied in song and touch to your good steed Sir VP of Epiphone. I beseech ye for these truths, as I too am struggling mightily to slay one beast or the other.
Huzzah! Long live the Queen!

doggie & THUNDERBIRD!

Welcome! And you’ll find we don’t bash 7enders (usually), many of us play them too.
I have a bunch of Fenders...:thumbsup:

Some with Tort and some not;
Many are passive, but the actives are hot.:cool:

Some in short scale and others in long;
Split Ps, single coils or Humbuckers, they all make nice songs.:bassist:

Some have a solid body and some are hollow;
Most with four or five strings, six is too much to swallow.;)

All are different but have one thing the same,
Few get played since the THUNDERBIRDS came!:)

As it turns out I really like Reverse Thunderbirds best and have sold the three Non Reverse Birds that I've owned
Yes, I do regret it......

At one time...

Nice!
So how would you compare the sound of the black BaCH to your Eppi VP?

With a Lull pickup it was no comparison, it's better, fuller sounding, there's just more going on.

Still enjoying the medication George?

Good evening Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers. Just got home from the Robert Plant concert. He played the Spokane Opera House, now the INB center. I wasn't certain what it would be, but it well exceeded my expectations. The Sensational Space Shifters are an amazing group of musicians. The music was a mixture of Zeppelin, solo Plant, folk and blues. The music was thoughtful and creative arrangements and reinventions of many of Zeppelin classics. I admit I have been a Zeppelin fan for years, and saw him in the early 80s on his first solo tour. My especially enjoyed Going to California, and Babe, I'm gonna leave you. It was a treat to have him play Spokane, I am glad I attended.

LOL - actually I nipped that potential habit in the bud a while ago. What you're seeing now is more a sign of a normally very active man that's starting to go cabin crazy from being stuck on a couch in front of a TV or iPad for two fortnights. One more fortnight and I'm a free man!:thumbsup:

:woot:With all my spare time I've come to several conclusions...
1) A broken bone sucks, a long healing process sucks even more, and daytime TV sucks the most.
2) One can only play so many rounds of Angry Birds or Majong or Solitaire before going totally insane.
3) I have yet to find the volume or duration limits that my neighbors might have with my bass playing.
4) The next solicitor that knocks will require urgent care to remove a 34" bass from their alimentary canal.
5) THUNDERBIRDS still rock. :bassist:
