Thunderbird Club

I don't have Lull or Thunderbucker pickups in a 'Bird ... yet. The Chinabuckers in the Flamingo work fine, but they will eventually get an upgrade. The stock pickups in the fairy dust '01 and the DiCola pickups in the '15 are just fine as they came from the factory.

I have China Buckers in my Orville, they're pretty nice sounding, we've speculated that they could be the same as what Epiphone uses, but I don't think so based on what my ears tell me.

You can't fool me, Canada doesn't have an NSA, there's just some committee that monitors your consumption of Back Bacon and Maple syrup.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have real problems associated with Maple Syrup. There appears to have been regular heists from the strategic maple syrup reserve.

The RCMP aren't known for barking up the wrong tree, I'm sure they'll get to the root of it in no time, but it certainly could be a sticky situation.;)

I have no interest in a NR at all. So, there you have it. Plenty more for everyone else, so long as Scott doesn't keep buying them up. He's on to VPs now. How long before he corners that market, too?

+1 sword of agreement

Sorry, been reading Slackwyrm comix. And Swordz.

I'm thinking that we all like to tinker(tweak, adjust, mess with, etc.), either on paper, in our  minds, or with our wallets.
Nope, extremely happy with the Classic Pro just the way it is, bridge, tuners and all! But if I get a white Vintage Pro, I would probably switch out the pickups for the Lulls. But truthfully, I like the Classic Pro so much I don't feel compelled to get the Vintage Pro. Can someone convince me I need it?

But the NSA, by definition, is tasked with monitoring other countries' communications. And CLEARLY Canada is a threat because they refuse to ship me old Traynor tube amps for free. I think my THUNDERBIRDs through a kilowatt or so of vintage Traynor gear would sound killer. Literally, if you got too close, but that's what the "STAY BACK!" signs are for.

It's because you need another Thunderbird. :woot:

Seems reasonable.

I've played both, of the two I own one. You need it!:D

In the 70s, when I was in my 30s, I so wanted a yba-200 and 4x12 cab. The only dealer in Miami couldn't do anything on the price so I wound up with a(used)SVT 'blue line' and 8x10 cab. Never really liked it, especially when it came time to move it.

Need is a word in the vocabulary around here that makes no sense, and we don't understand.

NPD! But it’s not a pedal. She’s a new puppy!
