That's 4.5 standard shots of espresso. That's better than a Red Bull!4.5 oz.![]()
Because of the bureaucracy between design and production.in a perfect world yes...my point being, why not just use a spring can and three tubes for the reverb/vibrato combo?...
AHEM!Which one of you guys is gonna get your bird up there first.

you mean, no AC?I'll take everyone's word(s)on coffee. Only coffee I really like is Kahlua. Otherwise, I gotta flavor-and sweeten- the hell out of it.
On another subject, yer intentional power outages suck. My side of the street lost power 3 nights ago at 2 AM for 2 hours. Couldn't sleep for spit. Next day dragged.
No gig tonight, tomorrow night-THUNDERBIRD!

my favorite 4 X 10 cab by farYep - pre Fender bought new in around '96. The mongrel 15" cab is on the other side of the stage.
It's a morning of much packing and getting ready for me, we're off on a three day trip to play 7 Cedars Casino outside of Sequim, WA. It's the big rock show for Halloween so we go all out, I have three outfit changes and four basses along for the ride. T he Les Paul Gold Top gets the nod for the first set, with the Epi VP being used on the last two songs as they're detuned a half step. The Jackson gets the second set and the Lull owns the third.
I write the set list and this show we're really watching the clock, we start at 8:30 and need to have two sets and a break in before 11:00 at which point the Casino does it's costume contest, that gives us about an hour to cool off and regroup. The last set can go as long as it needs to and anything that gets cut for time could be played there if we feel like it. As you can see, it's mostly '80s stuff with a few others in there, in writing the set list my goal is to just keep the evening steadily ramping up, so we don't mess around between songs much, just plow ahead, it keeps folks asses on the dance floor.
I will try to post some stuff as time allows - be good!

And amazingly enough, her Thunderbird didn't neck dive or break! Must be photoshop.I feel young again every time they get posted on here.
Probably off over a huge area. I'm guessing the transmission lines were an issue somewhere. Those go over hill and over deal, following tracks made by the wild mountain lawnmower that runs in straight lines and leaves bare tracks while it looks for lunch. If the wild mountain lawnmower isn't hungry for a while, the trees grow back and then there's a problem. Moral of this story, don't leave food scraps out or the wild mountain lawnmower will eat them, then you will have a power shutdown.I'd love to see a link to some of those statements, pure comedy gold I'd bet.
Still stewing here in the dark. Power went off at noon, not back on yet. Zero wind, zero fires within 50 miles of here and every neighborhood has underground electric, but by gosh they just had to shut the power off just in case.![]()
