Thunderbird Club

1. Cool artisanal SD TV set! Does it use tubes (in addition to the picture tube)? Or is it one of those solid state ones?
2. Collection Beanie Babies under the blue sheet?
3. Collection of all things tortoise shell underneath the green sheet? Or is the toys that have come over your fence?
1. Solid state
2. Evidence of me being a pack rat
3.Old stereo console. Guts dead, speakers wired into all-in-one unit(was my dads). Inherited by me-along with house.

I'm starting to think you don't believe the folks in bureaucratic structures are possibly smarter than the rest of us....:D

I'm just a dumb old boy from Kentucky, but there seems to be other options than inconveniencing several million people like this. Just saying.
At a hit to the economy of millions every hour it’s off. If you want some comedy, read the statements put out by the PG&E board and its bonus baby execs. It’s absolutely ludicrous. And SoCal Edison is no better. The good thing is my neck through Gibson THUNDERBIRD plays remarkably well without an amp. We’ll survive.

I'd love to see a link to some of those statements, pure comedy gold I'd bet.
Still stewing here in the dark. Power went off at noon, not back on yet. Zero wind, zero fires within 50 miles of here and every neighborhood has underground electric, but by gosh they just had to shut the power off just in case. :sour:

sorry Dude, we’ll be off Sat night through Monday morning... supposedly playing a Halloween party Sat night in Moss Landing.....we’ll see...

In honor of Thunderbird Thursday (well, coincidentally) I had a power-pop trio rehearsal using my Deadlybird IV (one of 3 chosen T-bird basses used in this band) through an SWR 400s/mongrel 15" cab tonight - love that combo... there's a farty tone you get if you push the driver a bit and favor the neck pu with a pinch of bridge pu. So R&R. (think Mountain, Cream)

Blaaaaaaaaack...
Double espresso. Black. Please and thank you.

Well by golly, they are smarter than we think! This is working after all. Turn the power off and the wind stops blowing and no fires within 50 miles! Dog gone it, we can't control the environment! California is on the cutting edge of everything.:rollno:o_O

I haven't heard, but I'm assuming all those with power being turned off will at least have lower electric bills? Wouldn't be surprised if they figured out a way to keep charging.

Not really my thing as far as that singing style goes, but love the music! Great job!

I agree with the vocal statement, but really liked the music/sound.

I like it! I’m considering starting another band and that is a potential direction I would go.
