Yes, on an NR (afaik). There are NRs out there with both, but plenty of 66 NR photos with back only, which leads me to think the top button is an after market downgrade.
The 2013s seemed to come with the strap pin on the horn. I think they could definitely benefit from having that relocated to the neck heel.

Is that like having a "staff" infection?
:D
Can actually be worse. (But possibly the diagram might help with that as well. Win! Win!) Fortunately not most of the time in my case. Extended worker meetings may be another story. But not as bad as HOA meetings where everyone seems to have the goal to out stupid the person next to them.

I picked up a 2013 NR pelham blue T bird last week. I had a new bridge and lollars installed and it kills.

I always read that the NR bodies don't neck dive like the reverse ones, that but I've found the exact opposite to be true.
Short of drilling new post holes into the bass, do you have any suggestions on how to combat this? I've tried the same leather strap that I use for my other T bird and it didn't change anything

I didn’t know Dolly played lead guitar in The Sweet ?

I might use this at a staff meeting!

At my last company, we discussed the merits of the practice at some silicon valley companies of removing chairs from meeting rooms. I suggested that, if we were truly interested in shortening meetings and pursuit of physical fitness, we should replace the chairs with treadmills. The treadmills would start slow and gradually speed up as the meeting went on. The two day quarterly strategy meeting would have changed drastically...

For what it’s worth, I find the strap button on the heel works better on Gibson style basses. I relocated the button on my LPJ shaped object (which has a wenge neck that’s crazy heavy) and it hangs better. I wear em low and I have long gangly arms, so results may vary.

So, your suggestion is: If you want to play Gibson basses, have your arms stretched!?

We can debate who was most talented. And there are many dimensions; music writing, lyric writing, performance.

Paul, as writer/co-writer of many songs has seen substantial royalty income. But Ringo had few if any Beatles writing credits. His wealth has been achieved solely on the back of his fame. I will argue that converting fame to wealth the winner is Ringo.

That was my line of reasoning, too. Paul turned music into money and more fame, which is a bit different.

Part of the reason I liked the Madmen series is probably because of my creative background and the fact I never (well, very briefly) had to plug into that corporate technology. I was part of one ad campaign for Trek bicycles in the mid 80's... but I was an interloper - not "one of them". So I am savvy of that world - and super glad my exposer was limited.
