Thunderbird Club

Every time I have seen an interview with PT, I have always thought - angry old man, he must have been something special when he was young (I mean that in a bad way)...

He (his persona) was proto-punk really - angry and destructive

Interesting that the motorcyclist couldn't stay ahead of it. That would be true against a Ferrari etc as 4 wheels can go faster through the bends than two - but wonder what cc the bike was that it couldn't overtake a van on the straights?

Ian Rubbish was angry but seemed like a decent person anyway...

OK, more seriously, there have been many angry musicians who manage to be decent people anyway. Frank Zappa leaps to mind. As well, the Clash, Public Enemy, Alanis Morisette.

But then there was this band.

Not a van, but it isn't necessarily fact that motorcycles are always faster...

:D

I picked up a 2013 NR pelham blue T bird last week. I had a new bridge and lollars installed and it kills.

I always read that the NR bodies don't neck dive like the reverse ones, that but I've found the exact opposite to be true.
Short of drilling new post holes into the bass, do you have any suggestions on how to combat this? I've tried the same leather strap that I use for my other T bird and it didn't change anything

I can't answer your question, but some of us are waiting on the Epiphone Non-Reverse Vintage Pro in Pelham Blue * **

Who is that on the poster?

* Although it hasn't been announced yet, sources*** confirm that it will be coming.

** Alpine white, Vintage cherry, and Inverness green will also be available.

*** Sources is another name for the collective wishing of Thunderbird club.

Lightweight tuners? Grippy suede backed strap? Can't see where the top strap button is, but it should be on the neck heel.
