Thunderbird Club

That's fun stuff I like it.

54-40 Refers to a boundary dispute between the U.S. and Canada for those of you needing an historical factoid.
Always great to get out and see a show! Glad they’re still touring.
Love me some 54-40! Glad to see they’re still rocking it!

Still put on a good show. And I am happy that they can make a living making music. I think tonight is the last show before they go on an Xmas break. Tour resumes in January around S. Ontario..

Quick glance I thought you said S. Orlando. Living in FL will do that to ya.

This just popped up on local Craigslist. For those of you that are into these, does the price seem high for this?

Yep. Priced too high. If it was a 320 head and 406, the price would be more in line. I do not know what the replaced driver would do to what it sounds like, either. It might be ok.

totally agree, some collectors would happily pay that though...about 2 years ago I paid 200 for a 220 and a 402 cab. the head wouldn’t come on but all it needed was a power switch. traded it for a Schecter 5 string about 2 weeks later.....ACC stuff just doesn’t do it for me..
ACC collectors are nuts. I have quite a bit of it, because it works for me. If it didn't, it would not be around.

The construction team who was building our gazebo saw the old upright piano in our den and asked my sweetheart "who plays?". They had been looking for a keys player forever. I ain't no Billy Powell but when I auditioned I noticed the bass player also plays a thunderbird...a blackbird to be exact. You can see it on a stand behind him after my shaky piano solo. That Leon fella was a really good bassist and liked his birds. Anyways these folks rarely get together but they are very good at what they do.

Pretty good! It's a relaxed sound they have, enjoyable to listen to. The riffs are there, but it's a different take on the performance. Nice.
