Mine's a little darker, I don't recall that bass getting posted in the thread, it would be interesting to know what's become of it.

New Silverbird is all together, strung, tuned and intonated. Very nice tone. The condition is excellent. @gaffster who sold it to me had it for 10 years and took really good care of it. It’s an 02/09 “Limited Edition Custom Shop.” Chinese from either Daewon or Unsung. Great neck, nice fretwork. No perceivable dead spots. Body is supposed to be mahogany instead of the usual alder. Seller fully disclosed that the action was high; and it is. Each nut slot needs a few passes with a file. And I’ll be shimming the neck when I change strings.

I’m really impressed with the build quality of this one and my ‘07 Pelham Blue Limited Edition (Korean). Great value and easily upgradable. Now to find a Limited Edition TV Silver...
