Our Queen has the final say, but my vote is heck yes! Very nicely modded on both Ukes. Love the variegated green, would like to hear how you did that. I'm a Kala Ubass player as well and have wondered how the solid body TBird shaped basses sound. If it's Anything like the hollow body Uke it's a low frequency monster. Also, what if anything special do you do to tame the inherent piezo quack and string finger noise?

I had Pat Wilkins paint it, he does great work, I live about 25-30 minutes away. I keep hearing about quack but I don't hear anything out of the ordinary, full deep sound to me.

Also, I have a bunch of different shape solid bodies that don't sound different to me. Guess I'm not that discriminating.

Those look the part to me. Maybe a little stubby compared to a Gibson, but lots of things are a little stubby looking compared to a Gibson Thunderbird.

I was close - looks like you can twist the bridge bolts off and on w/o using a screw-driver and if it gets frozen you can use a screwdriver. Yep, pu's, knobs and rocker-switches are ones used on many different models of different badged Teisco basses/guitars.
