Understood, but if the Rotosounds are currently holding you back.... You can always put them back on down the road.

My band The Sean Conneries does this campy showbiz spy song. That particular vid is a bit butchered shortening the intro to each verse - why I don't know. You can see the chomped edits if you watch it again. But as far as the actual vid - it does seem odd just to have her spinning in that mod chair. Seems like it could have been a throwaway - a "just sit in this chain here in the studio and lip-synch the song" sort of thing. Like they wanted to get by as cheaply as possible and just needed to shoot something - now. I mean, she was Frank's girl and "we're doin' Frank a favor here."
Either that or it was shot by an avaunt guard director who wanted to strip the visual gestalt to its minimal essence while conveying a soft collision of mystery and absurdity. One or the other, or both.

I just wanted to let you know the solution to my C-Standart Vintage Pro Intonation problem, for the ones that will come after me.
I wanted to replace the bridge and let wrote some of you about different options for bridge replacements, because the Saddle for the C and F string would not go back as far as i needed it to to intonate.
That is with all roundwounds in regular gauge up to Earnie Ball Power slinkys 110-055, aswell as labella 760m Roundwound 110-53. (labellas even had much more problems with the saddle range).
I really used the search function quite a lot the last few weeks since I got the bass and everything kind of did not work out for what i wanted to use it for, but the really simple solution, that i just could not find on TB but my local musicstore bassist who also plays c standart, told me i should use higher gauges especially on the C and it might solve the problem.
I bought daddario rounds 130-65 and there it is. perfect intonation on all strings. (Saddle for C string still all the bay back but a perfect fit, might switch to 135 at some point in the future)
It was an easy solution and maybe this information will help out some of you.
Higher gauge results in flatter note on the 12th fret if the saddle stays in the same position.
Only problem left is, the 130 string is too fat at the Ball end to pass though the clawpiece T.T
any suggestions for this other than file it down? I thought about Rotosound piano strings they are tapered
For now I used the ball end of an old 45 string with a small amount of string left and put it through the clawpiece and fixed the ball end of the 130 string at this string piece in the area between clawpiece and bridge.
Works for now, but I think i can do better.
