Thunderbird Club

OK I have "Mother Russia rain down down down" going off in my head like a stuck record player......I remember partaking in certain activities and throwing a shoe at the damm record player. Or maybe that was a movie? There it is again "Mother Russia rain down down down"

I’m open to different necks to a point! I love the Fano I have, but a couple of earlier models I tried were super skinny at the nut, but really wide behind the first few positions. I’ve hit a point where I love Gibson T-Bird necks and most J necks, except I don’t love J pickups. A typical P neck feels a bit wide to me these days, unless I’m seated, then it doesn’t matter much. I dunno why I’ve gotten a little fussy in the last few years, but I have :/
That's easy-you've found what you like and are most comfortable playing.

Fairchild "Packet"?

How are the necks odd? I'm one to be open to different necks/fingerboards - my latests Dano's (Coral DB & Silvertone Hornet) have somewhat unorthodox necks (wide P-bass nut/Gibson-like narrow heal) and I really like them. (Coral has a flat D profile and the Hornet has a soft C profile)
They must get whatever's available from "Necks Are Us".

Yeah, I really liked the JAEbird's original P neck, but couldn't ignore the shooting pains in my left wrist. It went to a good home.

Pretty soon you'll be yelling "Get off my lawn" to the neighborhood kids. :D

When are we getting the Non Reverse announcement?;)

If not soon I’ll buy a Vintage PRO.

Sources claim* that Epiphone will be showing prototypes at NAMM in a week or so. As the project is very secret, expect continuing denials of the existence of the prototypes. Retailers are being asked to sign non-disclosure agreements before being allowed to see the prototypes.
