Ahem! Not as good as the black ones...
I haven't tried a blue one (but I would like to).How about the blue ones?
FB - I regularly hit the snooze or hide button on people that post stuff I don’t want/need to see.Almost makes me wish I were on FB. Almost. I hate missing the good parts of FB, but don't miss all the nonsense.
Beautiful instrument. Under 9 lbs. Balances similar to a P. This one was strung with steel rounds and plugged into an Ashdown EVO top into a 2X10 box. Mark said the pickups were nothing like MM pickups except for the outward appearance. He also said he was anticipating backlash from the T-Bird community lol...The neck feels like an 80’s D profile and the action was set to about 4mm from the 12th fret. Fast. When discussing the pups I was reminded of the lack of active electronics to emphasize their hot output characteristics. With all knobs (VVT) dimed the tone was bright, aggressive and thick. Modern and ironically very Stingray sounding. A VERY Jaco type tone was easily dialed by diming the bridge pup and and setting the other knobs to 0 much like on other basses. Made me think it may have been a single coil but couldn’t confirm....very cool bass...gotta run back in here to catch the rest of the game!..I'm liking the looks of that Thunderbird. If RS and GH picked one up, there must be something special about them. I don't think either of them are Ashdown endorsers (but I could be mistaken on that).
Must be cold there - ball cap replaced by wooly hat...
hit STOP to unsubscribe...I know I asked for pics. I’m going nuts.
That small one - I would fit it under the board, and find a way to be able to adjust it.This will fit under the board:

Or this if you like to look at it or switch it on/off:

I was under the impression that once set up properly, you don't need to twiddle your knob. Ahem. That small one - I would fit it under the board, and find a way to be able to adjust it.
Thanks for that!
Uh, nope. I’ll take it. You’ve posted some cool stuff.hit STOP to unsubscribe...![]()
Assuming you always play through the same rig.I was under the impression that once set up properly, you don't need to twiddle your knob. Ahem.

HPFs also take care of stage and room boom so having them accessible is recommended.I was under the impression that once set up properly, you don't need to twiddle your knob. Ahem.
I can leave requests with my local L&M. I picked up my Mesa 410 for C$250 by asking them to keep an eye open for a cheap cab. As soon as they saw it, they put it on hold for me. My brother got his Traynor darkhorse Cab the same way - one popped up in store in BC, they nabbed it for him. Took a couple of weeks to arrive as it got passed store to store on the way here (cheapest shipping option - free). I currently have them looking out for a cheap head to leave at my brother's with the 410.
If memory serves (and it might not) there is also selectable clipping diodes - either silicon or LED.
What? You mean following the inane thoughts of people is a bad thing? It could be worse… It could be twitter...

I used some GHS Pressurewounds on my white VP today and really liked them. They came on the burst VP rescue from GC and I took them off. Tried them on the white VP and I think they will stay a while.
Yes, it's a thing with me. Probably my barbarian playing style and settings (I am @Gaolee's twin after all).
It's an 'electric bass', not an 'electric high mids'.
pretty trick...
