I like humbuckers AND single coils. Does that make me bi-coustic?I thought about the Tele mudbucker as well but this is a completely different animal. Almost like Fender finally admitting Leo’s way forward after Fender was the right one..

I sure do like them French fried pataters. That headstock looks like a kaiser blade, some people call it a sling blade, but I call it a kaiser blade. .![]()
Just to add my $0.02 - if is re-liced and then it is de-re-liced, isn't it just liced? We have our choice of many relic-negated basses made by many brands today!![]()
Not that there is anything wrong with that...I like humbuckers AND single coils. Does that make me bi-coustic?![]()
I'm with you. The el tookay is the classic G & LMaybe it's just me, but I still think the L2000 delivers the G&L cred more fully. I could be wrong.![]()
Big refinement, in my worthless, purely subjective opinion! But you are indeed right.tough one, cause for me a G&L is a refinement of the MM platform where the Stingray was a radical departure from Fender...
They'll be best buds I hope.this is George, my new friend...

That hairy green Sasquatch isn't going to eat or harm the Birds is it?
My daughter and I spent a pleasant day touring it during one of my visits when she was at University of San Diego. It was a fun day. The best part was talking to the docents who were actually serving on it during deployment.I've been on the Midway once, when it was in commission it visited Bremerton Naval Shipyard, I was pretty young, we took the ferry across Puget Sound to see it.
Pass the mustard. .I sure do like them French fried pataters.
Yes. Then you need to get that shampoo from the pharmacy.Just to add my $0.02 - if is re-liced and then it is de-re-liced, isn't it just liced?

I'm starting to see a pattern......!I was so impressed with my Embassy at practice last night, I just bought one to leave at home tonight. Black, lollipop Hipshots and case. Already have a set of Sunbeam lights to put on it. Will probably do the series/parallel mod as well. Great basses!

That looks coolI've seen that one, pretty Jetsons cool- only thing I'd have done differently is incorporate a knee support. A design like that is similar to the Vox teardrop - for playing standing only. Speaking of Vox, it's interesting they went with a paddle hs shape - another design aspect I would do differently.
You and me both. I’d love to be able to be out there playing instead of working all the time.View attachment 3681728
