That bridge looks better than a stock bridge.
That does look fantastic with the cover. I sure would put it on.

Anyways...happy Thunderbird Thursday. 4" red leather Levy's on the IV, 3? " Neotech on the VP, 2" Feedback strap on the Gibson...my daughters gave it to me when I bought the 4003W, but it looks just as good on the 'Bird, and 3" cheap leather Epiphone strap on the Goth...cheap but comfy.Yep, he always had that Ric, run stereo, with Pearl, at least whenever I saw them.Wow, small world...I was 16 but the drinking age was still 18 so it was easier to sneak in. I used to watch them there as well as the Button and the Cafe Exchange off Sunrise Blvd. couldn’t agree more, Wally was humble and a hell of a nice guy. our singer’s girlfriend ran off with him when he signed with Malmsteen lol....he got sponsored by Peavey (for basses) and Ampeg when I remember him telling me his new 2 SVT rig was louder than his previous band Frontrunner! great times....remember that rickety heavily modified Rick he used to play?..
There was a helluva lot going on in Miami/Ft.Liquordale in thems days that I missed gigging 6 nights a week from 75 to 83.Yep, he always had that Ric, run stereo, with Pearl, at least whenever I saw them.
I ran into Wally at the Treehouse years later, he'd been producing a thrash band called Cryptic Curse, who were quite good. This was after Ingwe, and he'd recently taken ill. He was blown to bits that I remembered Pearl, it had been 10 years out so.
That was the last time I saw him.

Yep!
I like it. Air cooled and tubesAt some point, if I were to get a fun car, I think I might get a type 2 bus and put a 3.3L Porsche flat 6 in it. Something like the one Jamie Oliver has.
I could use it to cart around my amp with a power section consisting of 40 12AU7s

used to sneak into bars (underage) in Liquordale to watch this guy back in the early 80's....man oh man...

My FIL was a cop as well. One of my favorite stories that he told me was that when he first started, (early sixties) the police cars were two door Plymouth Valients with three speed column shift. My father-in-law is a retired cop/detective. From everything I can tell he was an honest one. He drives me crazy sometimes but he genuinely enjoys helping people.
Well, I am officially retired TODAY as of 11:30 AM. Now I have the time to write more songs, play more bass, get decent on guitar, go to the gym 3 times a week, learn Spanish, then Italian, see more of the kids and girlfriend, and still have some leftover time to drool over the Thunderbirds posted here!![]()
Ha. My FIRST car was a 64 Plymouth Valiant, with 3 speed column shifter. My father ( a cop ) bought it for me. Coincidence? My FIL was a cop as well. One of my favorite stories that he told me was that when he first started, (early sixties) the police cars were two door Plymouth Valients with three speed column shift.
They had to push the seat forward to cram the perps in. And if it was snowing, they had to pay random passers-by to push them out. Different times.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!Congratulations!! I am more than a little jealous.
