It looks like you blew a seal.Just don't hang out on a surf board and look like a seal from below.
I dunno if it's true, but look out for the plague of frogs that is sure to follow the fire and then the flood.over 100mm (~4inches) yesterday and today where I am, with string winds today and high tides on the coast. My local radio station had warnings about not driving through flood water “it only takes 10cm of water to float a car”.
True ? Who knows ?
1. Why do you want heavy?
The wicked witch has gotten loose in Oz again. This is not good. Flying monkeys to follow.Once saw parked cars floating away on Oxford St in Paddington up where the Market is, after a downpour. Didn't measure the depth of the water sorry. Our building has no telly signal atm and a bit of water is blowing in under the door. Otherwise nothing to report.
Just don't hang out on a surf board and look like a seal from below.
Felines can be unexcitable at times."nothing to report"?
I studied the guy intensively as a History major. Actually read the transcripts of the tapes. Seriously. acid or no acid, the guy was nuts. Scary nuts. Kinda like the g,,, nope won’t say any more. I like it here and don’t want to be banned. The leader of the paranoid world on acid? Hallucinating more than usual? No thanks.
"Bob, give me the ***** **** ***** ****** football! We gotta nuke them all! Moscow! Beijing! Berlin! Nairobi! London! Des Moines! They're all about to launch and wipe us out!"
<Nixon reaches into a drawer>
"Boss, what are you doing to the tape recorder?"
<Nixon pulls out the gun Elvis brought him, points it at Haldeman>
"Give. Me. The. Baseball."
"Baseball?"
"Basketball. Handball. Kneeball. Whatever the ***** it is, just give it to me, or so help me, God, I will blow that avocado right off your face." <suddenly shoots at floor>
"Geez! What are you doing?" <Slides football across floor to Nixon>
"**** commie spiders sneaking in here with their drug propaganda..."
Ahem?Felines can be unexcitable at times.
Not from a great white's perspective. You'll be fine if you look like a seal from above though.
The West Coast is calling!Load up the new van and hit the road this summer!
Maybe somebody did a strange mod. I'm not sure why. Or maybe Gibson just screwed up on the production line. Another one of those mysteries.I've seen a couple NR TBirds with a different tone control and input jack arrangement than mine.
As you can see below, my V/V/T knobs are in line, but in the shot a couple posts above it appears the tone pot and input jack positions are switched...(???)

I’m having visions of The Last Wave. One of my favorite movies. Hope that isn’t really happening. Stay safe my friend. And @fasterpussycat too.over 100mm (~4inches) yesterday and today where I am, with string winds today and high tides on the coast. My local radio station had warnings about not driving through flood water “it only takes 10cm of water to float a car”.

Not cobalt flats!
Carry on.
There are many strings here that various members like (ahem).
Rounds:
RS66
Black Beauties
DR Jonas Hellbourg
NYXL
...
Flats:
7ender flats,
Labella
...
What kind of tone are you looking for?
You can add hex core GHS Boomers (left) and Roto RS77 flats (right) to the list. Boomers, IIRC, are actually pretty popular around here; but you can find someone who is (or has) used just about every kind of generally available round on their 'Bird. Same thing for flats, but most of us seem to prefer the "thumpier" flats. I suppose you could make brighter flats - like EB Cobalts or D'Addario Chromes work, though. IMO, the 9050 Fenders are about as bright as I'd want to go - they're very nice flats, and just slightly on the bright side of "Medium thumpy". I was going to put a set of Optima 4099 RL flats on the black one, but.. for me, the Roto flats are a known quantity, and I thought they'd work without me having to experiment. I was right; I like them a lot on this bass. The Optimas went on something else. Where they may, or may not stay; that bass is proving hard to find the right strings for...
Yours looks like the way it should be for functional reasons.Weird.
Mine is a 2013, and there are two current listings in the classifieds with the other configuration, also stated to be 2013's...![]()
I think they are still touring...
You actually notice what he says? You are too kind.Oh I noticed... but then you have everything else arse-backwards, so it wasn't worth the bother.
We all have used lots of different strings. I like Cobalt flats, DR Black Beauties, and have recently become a convert to Ken Smith Bass Burners. I have a set of Rotosound tape wounds that I had on the flamingo and want to put on the 2015 to see how that works. But, I haven't done it yet.Hi all. What strings are you guys using on the Bird? What is considered the best ones most people use. Thanks
