Thunderbird Club

Dude. Seriously. Iphones have been around for like 12 years now. Even my Mom who is 86 knows how to use one. I had one like yours that in what, 1995? How does it even still work?
This is gonna seem weird, but I use my phone as a phone. I don't need-or need to pay for-a handheld computer.

If it's real clean, with a conscientious owner, they would have one on hand

Yeah, you would think, but I don't think this guy really plays bass, probably wouldn't know how to adjust it. That's why I wanted to have one on hand.

Anybody?

I'll hafta try that! Oh....wait.....[my phone]

I'll just get off your lawn now.

It's a balmy 54 degrees and there's an insanely bright object in the sky to the South - Southwest.

The Subu is kinda dirty yet.
I love this bass, it snarls and is not nice to FSO's

Thanks for posting that, the vintage white (bisque or yellow to me) is the same color as my "white" Embassy, let's me visualize what it would look like if I swapped pickguards with my black Embassy.

To that end, Dave L, is everything a simple swap from one Embassy to the other, (I'm not experienced with a soldering iron)?

We don’t even have a working pc at home these days. We use IPads and iPhones. They do everything a pc does, and easier.
I'm gonna disagree here. I do a lot of video editing for my race team on my PC. I also do a lot of graphic design for things like paint schemes, autograph cards, t shirts and such for the racecar on my PC. I also run a vinyl cutter from my PC, for, you guessed it, vinyl decals for said racecar.

But, most importantly, I can't play World of Warcraft on my phone or my tablet. ;) :roflmao:

One of the nice things about going only IOS is that work stays at work and pleasure stays at home. Once I leave the office, I’m done. I seriously have no clue about World of Warcraft other than a friend and former co-worker’s son was an original developer of it and still works on the team. He’s been doing it for years. Apparently it’s really cool?

Trying to move my mom to that. I get 'tech support' calls periodically (I am not a computer expert of any kind). And the calls start with things like:
M - my computer isn't working
P - what is wrong with it?
M - the Microsoft isn't working
P - what do you see on the screen?
M - it wants a password
P - what password?
M - the password
P - read me the full text of the box on the screen
M - oh I'll have to turn the computer on then
