Thunderbird Club

Look out for Prairie Bomb! if you haven't had it. Possibly my favorite stout.
I'll check to see if it's available in S FL. We're kinda fond of Funky Buddha Maple Bacon Coffee Porter, brewed in Oakland Park(Ft. Lauderdale). 6.4%, breakfast in a glass(their quote).
Lest I forget, b4 and after custom PG:

The Tbird has landed! I am pleased, the bass has a solid and not to ugly a headstock repair. A quick clean up, empty pickup cover, new pg and a Badbird and it looks pretty good. I hope to have a Thunderbucker in it in the next week or so. The frets need a little dressing around the 15th fret other than that it's pretty issue free aside from the break. I'll keep you updated along the way.View attachment 3714718 View attachment 3714719
Very nice!

These are the Epiphone Embassy Pro's. I can't talk to the sound, Dave Lowell can say, he sold me the white one and bought a Thunderbird Vintage Pro. They do have same electronics (when stock).

Yeah, they sound nearly the same.

Although I think the Bird has better sustain and I don’t have the same strings on both.

Also, I have not yet done the series/ parallel mod to the VP thunderbird but it’s on the list.

Series, for me, is where it’s at...

After eating low carb for almost two years and dropping 25 lbs, (185-160, 5ft 6) I’m convinced this is the key. Carbs are just unnecessary...
Yep. I learned long ago that carbs are only good as quickly burned fuel. The average person doesn’t need them. Famed Aussie track and distance coach Percy Ceruti pioneered carb loading for milers and distance runners. He fed his team “potatoes chipped in oil.” Spaghetti feeds were common in running circles in the 70s. Unless you’re burning 4000 to 5000 calories a day, carbs are unnecessary.

The sound is pure Fartfisa(sic)but the look screams VOX.
I love Farfisas. Keyboardist we played with back in the day had one. I’ve researched a bit how to get close to that with a modern keyboard. There appear to be some that that can come close, but no cigar. Anyone play keys and know the best way to get close to the Farfisa sound? No way I’m buying an old Farfisa. I don’t have the time or inclination to mess with what is inevitably wrong with it.

Check out the demos on the Electro Harmonix B9 and C9. They claim they work with keyboards as well as guitar. One of our guitarists had one but it took a :poop:.

It's a balmy 54 degrees and there's an insanely bright object in the sky to the South - Southwest.
Thunderbird Thursday!

The Subu is kinda dirty yet.
I love this bass, it snarls and is not nice to FSO's

It does hit you in the chest when in series, I just want to know everything about them before I throw in another variable/complication, still got 5 more songs to learn, plus another bass solo
