Thunderbird Club

Question for those in the club who use a high pass/low pass filter on a pedal board: Where do you place it in the chain and why? Thanks!
I put it immediately after the tuner/wireless receiver. The official reason is that it lets other pedals do their thing and doesn't interfere with the resulting signal. The real reason is that is where I stuck it when I got it and it hasn't moved sense. It seems to work fine for both Thunderbird and doghouse signals. It tightens everything up without making it sound different. It is pure alchemy and way beyond my comprehension about how it does it.

I am, forgiven....... probably not.

Mine is built into the amp. I assume it's between the preamp and the power section...

...Thunderfunk amp, based on an old Gibson amp with a bit a Acoustic Amp DNA I think.

hey never noticed the block inlays on that P neck...is it (hard to see from pic angle) bound as well? what year is that? is it the original neck? i am in love with those maple fingerboards and black (or mother of pearl) block inlays...

Good eye Chuck. I swapped out from the original. I'll pm you 'bout that.

So that looks suspiciously like a J neck neck with the P label from a MIM Deluxe PJ. What did you do the the body?

Truth be told. An awesome AllParts neck, with Gotoh Reso-Lites on there. Freakin Kills Yo!

EDIT; The body was like that when i got it. I swapped out the pick-ups that were in there. Was non-original, so i put a Pure Vintage '63 and that SD HawkBucker in the the bridge position. The body is a '71, what's left of it...

Same here. Growing up in Canada, I know how it works. I enjoy watching it, but won’t go out of my way for it.

Why watch sports when you could play or listen to music?
Because, in my case, my daughter doesn't play music and we both love hockey, so we make it to a few Lightning games every year. And some Solar Bears(Orlando; Lightning ECHL team). A shared activity.
