Hockey talk (holding my TBird while writing this):
Habs are not making the playoffs. Again. Like apart from my generation, practically no one remembers them in playoffs, let alone winning the cup. Everyone and their aunt is asking that anyone in that organisation related to hockey operations to be either hung, drawn and quartered, or fired.

Lighten up people, it's only hockey.....
Music, on the other hand, is life.

Growing up in Quebec City, I was raised hating the habs wit passion. (Not my fault, but it helps me understand long time enduring conflicts between nations).

However, it's only hockey, but still has an economical impact in hockey nation when the teams does not make it to the series (or are kicked out too early). Sports bar and restaurants gets less crowded, owners makes less money, etc. And a less profitable bar won't pay as much (or as often) for live music.

I hope they get back on their skates and gets better, it will be better for everybody.

Question for those in the club who use a high pass/low pass filter on a pedal board: Where do you place it in the chain and why? Thanks!
I use two - An LPF at the very beginning just to remove unwanted rumble with my bass, and another one at the end (not on the pedalboard though, but directly on our mixing board) to tune the room and prevent some effects (octave - filters - OD) to be overwhelming with bass - so everything stays balanced in the FOH

Agreed, that's a reality that hurts: honest and hard-working folks might get negatively impacted by the fall-outs or lack thereof.
