Thunderbird Club

there is a photo as it happens but I haven’t seen it for years. I didn’t manage to get the exact T-shirt, but I looked around and found one that was suitably ugly.
With apologies to those eating.
From our 2008 work party, I have chopped out the other people.

:rollno: Who thinks like that? Some kind of childhood trauma no doubt. If tort were never invented the world would be a better place.

I have a white '62 Jazz that it looks decent on--but other things would look better IMO. It's old and original and it's staying as is.
I like torts matched with bursts. I remember a killer green burst/tort guitar in a catalog I drooled over but as a teen could not afford.

It is a strange decision. 'Yeah all the ppl who want an ebony finish bass will be dying to have a cream pickup.'

I'm not convinced any of the alternatives -- vinyl wrap, tape, paint -- are durable enough, so I'll live with it.
I think a tort JC with a white pickguard may be what you REALLY want. :smug:

Snapped a few pics while setting up Saturday afternoon. I really enjoy playing at the fish camp. Stage overlooks the water and I was lucky cuz when I screwed up there happened to be some airboats heading in. :bassist:

:roflmao: Yeah, them's 'll drown out anything.

Airboats used to be powered by opposed 6 cylinder aircraft engines. Newer ones use small block chevy V8s or ?.
"Mufflers? We don't need no stinkin' mufflers".
And yes.

And yes, it's a Florida thing... or yes, it would be a good backdrop to play Helier Skelter?
