We were informed yesterday that the company was "strongly recommending" that we work from home for about 3 weeks or until this situation has settled down. Not a problem for me. I will get some extra sleep and be able to mess around on a bass a little each day during work.

I’m considering taking my dual monitor setup home from the office tomorrow.

I can get all the way from my front door, on two trains, to work place without touching anything. No such luck once I get there. Seems most people haven't received the memo about touching, coughing and sneezing and from today I'm working from home until this all calms down.

My Dept is going to run a few ‘work from home practice runs’ next week or so. I’m pretty set and able (and keen) to work from home. Some others have different roles and equipment and need the trial.
S-I-L works at a big 4 audit mob, home today as his Dept test their readiness.

There's just something very strange about it all.

In comedy news, supermarkets here are being unkind to people suffering 'panic-buyers remorse'.

All those people with 50000 rolls of toilet paper and a couple of tonnes of pasta shells are being told no returns and no refunds.

My local Vinnies (and other charities I’m sure) are starting to struggle finding the basic items to include in the packs they deliver to families in need.
You don’t want all that toilet paper (etc) ???

Donate it to the charity of your choice. Someone will want/need it.

So, can you guys say a few words about this p'up? Just curious, but I know you guys are connesiures (I don't know how to spell that word) of pickups, and the sounds they make.

Is the sound hot, über clean, big and woofy, wiry... how do you describe it?

I have been surprised by the ongoing strength of the economy for the last couple years, but the run may be over now. It was going to take some kind of shock to knock it over, but it seems like this virus may be that shock. If so, I may be thinking about a vintage 'Bird. Provided there's any money to use to buy it. Probably not. That's how recessions work.

A Sqwar P in old man burst with a luncheon meat scratch plate.

It is rented for a month. I'm going to give it the weekend to see if I can figure out how to play lefty. If I can, it stays for a month or so while I get some active range of motion in my L shoulder. If I can't get it working by Monday, maybe it is a failed experiment.

So far: Wow is that ever awkward. How do you lefties manage to play anything!?

Wasn’t all that surprised to receive this email today. But I’m very sad. Have tickets for home opener weekend against the Nats and was really looking forward to the season. I’ll be home playing some THUNDERBIRDS instead. So at least I have that.
