I *love* this list. Do y'all ever play any other Mountain?
Funk 49 was just added to the list, the drummer wasn't even born when this came out, can't believe he's so excited about it (they are meeting/practicing without me).

Glad you questioned it--I learned something today!that’s it! they were posted as “Epiphone Kalamazoo Bass” on that Guitar Trader rag....
That song is a blast to play.Funk 49 was just added to the list, the drummer wasn't even born when this came out, can't believe he's so excited about it (they are meeting/practicing without me).
Not too floppy. 105-45 RS66I can imagine standard flats would retain the feel of a taut string being tuned down. Are you noticing any slack using rounds?

The R40(1x10) is 16#, R100(1x12) is 22#, R200c(1x15) is 34.5#. I have 1 of each. Some of the newer Fender combos are crazy light. Had a 110 or 112 that weighed about half what my similar Ampeg 112 weighs. But I liked the Ampeg better and sold the Fender. Sounded better with a keyboard as well.
Yep, the luthier said just glue and clamp and it is rock solid. I have seen some sorta hideous volute repairs over the years and some spline type that were performed like works of art.Looks like a scarf joint looking for a place to happen.
Look! NR!
Playing lefty is really really really really really really difficult!Look! NR!
I’ll take your word for it..Playing lefty is really really really really really really difficult!
I don't know how @BklynKen manages it. Probably better to give up and play righty.![]()
This got the call today. Wrong album, but still a classic.Funk 49 was just added to the list, the drummer wasn't even born when this came out, can't believe he's so excited about it (they are meeting/practicing without me).
Just in from the CDC
It has been reported that the COVID-19 virus is producing side effects that interfere with taste, smell and perhaps sound .
. The only thing that would've made it cooler is if the bassplayer played a Thunderbird ...View attachment 3759743 I went totally bonkers today. Being shut in, nothing on calendar, is driving me insane. Yeah I’m catching up on stuff, but when all this ends I’ll have to pay the piper. I’ll be on the road for about eight weeks. Moved the little Rumble into the home office. Only way to maintain sanity.
Play your THUNDERBIRDS on this great Thunderbird Thursday!
Ha !!! Love it !! Just what we need to put smiles on our faces these days.
Earlier this evening, I posted on my FB page the Flinstones' version of Surfin' USA, featuring the one and only Jimmy Darrock. Didn't get any likes, but I don't care, it made ME smile. The only thing that would've made it cooler is if the bassplayer played a Thunderbird ...

SWEET,TT
This is the bass I'll strap on during a tornado. It's so heavy if it can lift me and the bass, no shelter would have helped.
