Well, hope springs eternal. About $900 too much, although he’s right about them being scarce. I sure love my PB one. If someone had their heart set on one and could get the seller down to 1500 with shipping, it wouldn’t be too bad....but I’m secretly hoping he gets what he’s asking. I’m selfish that way.
paid 1200 for mine....case and all!.....

I've been watching the blue one, but after learning about the difference in the neck compared to my 67, I'm gonna pass.
I have two basses with amazing “thin necks;” my ‘15 and my Peavy Foundation. The 12/13 NR is very comfortable, at least to me.

The best deal going was here in the classifieds for the PB NR for local sale only with the Babicz installed and the three point in the case. It may still be available....My search skills suck.

He'd have to have some newbie with too much cash come along and not do any homework before hitting the "buy" button. It happens but not too often and he does look like a greedy prick with his out of line price. I won't say what I paid for my PB NR but it was more than $1000 less than this dude's price. SMH

That’s what I paid too at the beginning of February. Included shipping from Austin to Cali and the mint case and candy. I added the Babicz and it’s amazing. I still pinch myself.
yeah, this was about two years ago, it had a HS bridge installed (with the original black three point in a baggy),
I later added the Gibson 76 sidewinders and chrome h/w. was gigging it quite a bit..

totally agree on the homework....that said, GAS for an NR is a pretty serious condition...

At TWolf
I have a MIC epi Thunderbird and think they are well worth the money. Mine is a 2009 and seems better built than new ones at the local music store.
The Korean ones from even earlier are high quality as well. You might not like the mile thick poly finish, but you know for sure it's going to last plenty long.
