Bottom line, I want an NR. Seafoam green would be my ultimate choice but standard burst is next on the list followed by PB or white.

Good news is, I have the patience of Job when it comes to buying basses. I have one bass that took me seven years to acquire. I've only been actively seeking an NR for about a year now, so I'm just getting started.

Who else thinks Epiphone needs to make a NR Thunderbird Vintage Pro, following the seemingly well received Vintage Pro model? And maybe a Vintage Pro EB-3 that is more higher quality and period accurate than their current offering?

Ya mean the one we've all been hoping for for the past year?

There are going to produce a VP NR in Pelham Blue, Inverness Green, Vintage Burst, Alpine White, Ebony, and Burgundy Mist Metallic. We have been talking about that for months. Prototypes were shown at NAMM, but to see/try them, you had to sign a non-disclosure agreement. That is why you hear so little about them*

Wow, that's awesome! Does anyone know if they're going to be some sort of limited run, or a new permanent part of the line up?

Maybe theres also some hope for my dream of Vintage Pro EB-3 afterall!

I think once someone takes possession of it, they’ll love the finish as is. Beautiful color and nitro. Hint of grain peeking through, like @GBassNorth’ gold one.
