Communism is the root cause of how people are treated in China, as in every other communist country throughout history. Ask anyone who has fled a communist country.

My wife escaped Poland during communism. She tells me and our kids those stories from time to time. We're way better off here no doubt. You never see anyone from communist countries posting TBirds! 'Nuff said!

True, as I stated - in its essence; Communism is a social political movement. Its aim is to set up a version of society based on the common ownership of the means of production and would not rely on social classes, or money. That statement of intent is not inherently evil - it becomes evil because those in control do not follow its philosophical guidelines, and force everyone under them to give them supreme power and riches. It's an unrealistic concept at best considering human nature.

And this is why the term is so misunderstood in this day and age.

I know 2 women who came here from Russia, and were adults during its communist years. They love America. I won't go into further detail.

Consider it a deal. I have a very elderly mother in law living in Ann Arbor, so I might be out your way in the not so distant future. How far are you from Ann Arbor?

LOL - no offense taken. Everyone should feel perfectly comfortable liking or disliking what ever they want and no one should belittle anyone else for their taste in music. My opinion of artists never ever bleeds over to those that listen to them for enjoyment. In my book, everyone gets judged on their own merit, not the merit of who they choose to listen to. You and JIO are good as gold in my book.

Based on my exposure to Neil Young I personally choose to think he's a condescending hypocritical low talent has been with a hyperactive political agenda. That said, his band does have some good songs that would be even better if fronted by a singer that could hold a tune or actually play a guitar. Heck, Jimmy Fallon plays a better Neil Young than Neil Young does...

LOL - hadn't heard that song before. The song title is pretty accurate.

You’re a funny guy G.

We might wanna try and stay on point here, even though i've been a participant.
I don't wanna see us get shut down.

I agree -

What did they think of Thunderbirds, Glenn? Were they fans?

Love that mod. What kind of battery life are you getting in real world usage?

Battery lasts awhile cause I don't leave it on for long periods of time. Like an active bass - as long as you don't leave it plugged in, the battery lasts a long time.

Maybe it's just me, but the celebs (including artists, musicians, actors/performers of all types, sports stars etc) I "like" are people who I may agree or disagree with in many ways but I only go out of my way to go 'in depth' with only a few of them. Like Miles Davis - who I consider one of the most important musicians/artists of all time, was less than perfect in his non-performing life. I've read a couple books on him so I know all the details. Do I still think he is one of the most important musicians/artists of all time? Yes, as his contribution far outweighs the details. Now, if an artist goes out of their way to be an a-hole (I can definitely name a number of them still living) it will outweigh (for me) their contribution to popular culture. Usually this isn't hard because their contribution is generally sub-pare to begin with.
