Maybe because of the reversed HS?Those Epi NRs always look as though the neck is out of alignment, or bent or something.

one 'graduates' onto NRs....you're not ready grasshopper..A good deal on a used or blem white CP (or another VP) would be the main things now likely to get me to buy a third bass soon. Or of course a steal on a Gibson. Any pointers to a sub-$1,000 60s Gibson Thunderbird (the original, not the melty "NR" Fender-mollifier)?
Yeah, right. 8^)

Are you saying he's NR for a NR.At the expense of offending my buddy @GBassNorth, that’s great!
You might be better to buy from Liechtenstein or Tuvalu. Canada has a history of using the military quell rebellion. Most recently in 1970.Yeah, I'm kind if the same. I prefer not to support imperialist régimes who go around invading countries, starting wars, and bombing hospitals, or give them any more wealth than they have already stolen. That's why I buy Canadian whenever possible.
Here's another from this CD - lots of good songs on this one.
Communism is the root cause of how people are treated in China, as in every other communist country throughout history. Ask anyone who has fled a communist country. For me it has less to do with the concept of Communism, it's how they treat their people and for me as a potential consumer of their products - it has more to do with their flooding the market with cheap crap. Especially when it's clear that they also make very high quality goods. We see it dramatically in our world - crap tuners that look like quality Schallers, Grovers and Gotohs, cheap crap made by wage-slaves for every part of the basses we play. Chinabackers, MM & Hofner clones et al. I don't buy MIC crap because it being cheap isn't an excuse for taking advantage of people in another far away country - and I don't want that crap on any bass I build or own.
There's so much I'd like to say in response to your comments, but instead I'll just say this: Gibson Thunderbirds, designed and manufactured by Americans. . .Yeah, I'm kind if the same. I prefer not to support imperialist régimes who go around invading countries, starting wars, and bombing hospitals, or give them any more wealth than they have already stolen. Pick one. All of 'em vote for Burgundy Mist Metallic.Which God?
I'll probably never graduate. It's a case of suspended development.one 'graduates' onto NRs....you're not ready grasshopper..![]()
Consider it a deal. I have a very elderly mother in law living in Ann Arbor, so I might be out your way in the not so distant future. How far are you from Ann Arbor?Sorry it didn't work out.
If I'm ever in your neck of the woods or you in mine, beers from the host! And that goes to everyone of you guys to which we've been cordial in our common love of Thunderbirds.
LOL - no offense taken. Everyone should feel perfectly comfortable liking or disliking what ever they want and no one should belittle anyone else for their taste in music. My opinion of artists never ever bleeds over to those that listen to them for enjoyment. In my book, everyone gets judged on their own merit, not the merit of who they choose to listen to. You and JIO are good as gold in my book.At the expense of offending my buddy @GBassNorth, that’s great!

Based on my exposure to Neil Young I personally choose to think he's a condescending hypocritical low talent has been with a hyperactive political agenda. That said, his band does have some good songs that would be even better if fronted by a singer that could hold a tune or actually play a guitar. Heck, Jimmy Fallon plays a better Neil Young than Neil Young does...
LOL - hadn't heard that song before. The song title is pretty accurate.
I disagree. He is a self-righteous hypocritical blowhard condescending low (playing and singing) talent who writes some great songs.I personally choose to think he's a condescending hypocritical low talent
I enjoy his songs - especially when someone else is performing them. I could do without ever hearing him speak nor reading an interview with him.I never understood the Neil Young bashing, I'm not a defender, never saw him in concert, etc., but Harvest is one of my all time favorite albums, I actually have it in vinyl, cd, and on reel-to-reel. I don't play it on my Thunderthings though.
Seems to me that it has been a while since we have seen a picture of the flamingo.Pick one. All of 'em vote for Burgundy Mist Metallic.
