Thunderbird Club

Ha, they are both my healthcare providers. I have known both for years, so we discuss politics and what not pretty freely. I doubt they would know a Thunderbird from a sparrow, but who knows. My girlfriend would like me to keep the relationships professional, as would their husbands I imagine. :smug:
I play with a married couple from Russia. They are pretty funny. He's from Siberia and is an engineer. He's fairly awkward in a self-conscious and funny way. She's a fashion photographer from Moscow and very polished and urbane. I think she was probably once a fashion model herself. If not, she should have been. He's a complete perfectionist and is having a good time learning to play guitar like an American. I think he tried about 15 amps before he found the one he wanted. She plays keys and plays what's put in front of her. Perfectly. They were both fascinated by Thunderbirds. Especially the Flamingo.

On your THUNDERBIRDS (and optionally others), do you prefer the output jack to be on the face of eth guitar by the controls, or on the end/base of the guitar?
If it were an option, would you want a recessed, angled jack like Fender Stratocasters use?
Any particular reason for your preference?

The PB NR in WI has been listed on Reverb for $150 more than their original listing. WT7??

I found a used white Classic Pro in "Excellent" condition for $589 + $75 shipping. GC still has them for $549 with free shipping.
Such a deal!

Edit: $589, not $598.

1) Face, 2) no, 3) I use an angled plug and run my cable through the strap. Trying to plug in to the end/base after running the cable is a PITA.

But those moments of shallowness must be shared here.

There is greatness in being shallow. uh, ok.

THUNDERBIRDS!!!!
OK. I changed out the off-white knobs on my Rumbles for black knobs. No one can see them but me but I know they're there.
