Ooh!Well, they did clarify that it comes with a case. Still too much IMO.
But stumbled across this while looking for that listing:

.My good friend Konstantine is from Moscow. He just got his American citizenship about three years ago. He's a musician (guitarist/composer) and if I can find it, has a B&W vid on YouTube from the late '80s of him playing live - it's awesome. Very Joy Division/dark. He relayed stories about avoiding conscription by faking mental issues and being sent to an institution instead of the military. I recall him once saying - never trust a Russian.
Here's one of his songs that I played bass on - the middle section is a little long - it was meant to have solo/overdubs yet to be added.
I played with my fingers once.... once....

I'm inspired to learn pinstriping....

Both are sweet rides! I nearly pulled the trigger this one a few weeks ago...

But decided I'd ride this virus wave out first to see where we end up. In the meantime I modded the FrankenGoth for my daughter...

Reversed headstock came out pretty nice.
And on that note, it must be Thunderbird Thursday...

...no, it isn't mine. And neither are these...

Pinstriping done right is a real art form. You might be surprised how cheap you can get a pro to do it for you and how quick they can do it. I used to have a black Strat that I once took to a friends pinstripe shop. He did a beautiful full body mono color silver pinstripe job on it for $50 and it only took him about 15 minutes. After it dried I shot it a couple of times with clear coat, looked sharp. Check out the custom car shops in your area, they'll know where you can get it done by a pro.
Cool.stripped her down and the pinstriper just drove off with her... $150 minimum budget and colors and style at his discretion... I even let him decide if she retains the pickguard...
I told him I like gold and silver leaf, and tigersharks and all kinds of stuff.
I get her back Friday...

I think it looks better on the edge, but that can cause some issues when sitting on the couch or just standing it up if I don't have a right angle jack. I'm torn and always have been. But I'm not Rip Torn.On your THUNDERBIRDS (and optionally others), do you prefer the output jack to be on the face of eth guitar by the controls, or on the end/base of the guitar?
If it were an option, would you want a recessed, angled jack like Fender Stratocasters use?
Any particular reason for your preference?
Well, this gets a huge, O!M!G! from me. Love this!!!
I second that motion.Buy both, compare and contrast, and report back!
Man. You all are tough. I’m in the mood for this one about now.
On Old Black with Promise of the Real.
Sorry Neil fans..... Much better here. I don't mind him BTW.
I snapped up a used Goth Thunderbird IV for $200. 2016. Pretty much mint shape. Going to throw on some hip shot clover tuners and eventually upgrade to EMG TB pickups. Almost got a Vintage Pro but the Goth in my opinion is the better of them both. For one a maple neck with Rosewood board compared to Mahogany/Walnut neck w/rosewood board. Prefer the satin black finish too. Both use mahogany for the body tho.Buy both, compare and contrast, and report back!

All in favor of Miles buying both, say Thunderbird!
Motion carried.

Post pics soon, Miles.

As Geddy says "Ten bucks is ten bucks!"Yeah, I'll do that. Starting with the used one. We'll see if he takes a lowball offer.
