Since Yamaha took over, it looks like they removed all the little jokes such as 110db how loud the boss yells at his minions about manual deadlines. However, the one for the 200W Micro VR head still has the comparison to stonehenge.Maybe both? I know the Ampeg user guide writers have a sense of humour. Didn’t know the tech guys put stuff like that in.

But Stonehenge is only 18" tall.
Depends on what you're after.
I say the Black!!Depends on what you're after.
The white guard looks formal, think tuxedo.
The black guard looks baddass.
A cream or parchment guard would look vintage.
they are only going for about 250 bucks used around here so you may be looking at a different amp..Thank you.
I am competent to change a fuse. I used to be competent to do a large number of repairs, but have long since forgotten things and skills have not been exercised for decades. If it isn't a fuse, It is going to a tech for pricing a repair.*

Thanks for the info. Interestingly enough, the seller said the screw holes matched perfectly with what was already there. No problem if not since they will be covered. That PG will not fit a VP, I have one and tried it, for all their good points VPs are slightly misshaped compared to a Gibson, no crossover on these parts. Further, the screw pattern on the metal PG is different than the plastic Gibson original, there will be some extra holes underneath!
Very true.Depends on what you're after.

Both look great, but I prefer the white. Unless the thunderbird lights up on the black one!
I got the short scale thunderbird after an injury. I kept it for the punchy tone. Little thing hits like a brick wall.
I think the body is actually a firebird![]()
A well deserved and strategically accurate comment if there ever was one!Don't forget to look for any watermelon drippage.

I like the look of the black, but the white one fits the lower 'bout better.
Yeah, there is no mistaking a white t-bird pickguard, even in a dark corner of a stage.Very true.
The black looks bada$$, and gives me the look of a Gibby RD I love, but white pops more...especially on stage. (remember when we played on stages and stuff?)
