Thunderbird Club

Things are a bit slow in the Bird club today, so I'm jumping over to the GP for a quick walk through the insane asylum. See y'all in a few.

Are you nuts? Ha. I do that when I'm bored too. And don't want to work.

The Mesa TT 800 thread got a little heated the other day when someone in Austin called out Mesa because his local didn't have gear in stock. That was entertaining. I could feel the ever polite Aged Horse holding back from just an outright lashing out at the poster.

There are occasionally threads in the BASSES [BG] section I would like to share my thoughts with but anytime I see a thread that just started today with 20 pages - I don't bother. Very few people read the original post and nobody even scans through the following posts before unloading their wisdumb. Even when entering a reply early in a thread answering the OP's question - 20 posts over 15 pages later answer the same question. ah tb...

I pretty much monitor it for a few things I'm interested in or want to learn about. Any build by you is at the top of my list...

(blush!) :) I mostly hang in the Luthiers Corner. It's like when I was in High School and hung out mostly in the Art Dept!

That Lull...... Never ceases to amaze or get old, even if it does have the superfluous string. :D That's the best pic ever of it.
Thanks. Actually it's a Spector Rex 5 Pro (but I'll trade it for a Lull ).

Three piece maple neck through and Solid Maple wings, 5 string, 35" scale and active so it's quite a bit different than my other birds in just about every way, but sounds wonderful and looks killer under stage lights. If you find one in the wild (for $700 or under) grab it, discontinued years ago, they are getting hard to come across.
