Thunderbird Club

I looked at the link. The Google translation isn't much more readable than the original.o_O
I did OK with translation.

A couple of interesting choices in bass (bassove kytary):
Ricky - BBR-2R TBK
BBR-2R TRD
Birdish - TS01 DBR

As an alternative to relying upon translation software, you can hit the Union Jack icon top right and get the entire website in English.

Thanks. A little easier.

And I’m envious. I need to retire first then find something. 50+ hour weeks don’t jive with finding a band. I thought I’d be there by now. But things have changed. Won’t say more due to not wanting to get political.
No need. I put in 50 or more hours at work every week, so I fully understand. It makes it difficult to really get good at anything, especially since I attempt to play a bunch of different instruments in different styles. But, I'm lucky enough to have a wife who puts up with my endless enthusiasms and activities. And the kid is out of the house.

I hear you about retirement, though. I'll be 70 when that happens at a minimum, and probably older.

Bunny's (wabbits) are yummy food treats for all critters (earthbound or flying) who eat other animals. It's why they are skittish/timid and why they reproduce so plentifully. (also why Jack-rabbits are so fast) If they weren't hard-wired to operate like that - they'd have been wiped-out decades (or longer) ago.
They are fast food for other small furry animals. McDonald's cheesburgers with long ears.

That’s very similar to my situation except our kid is 17

Right! We need Gbass on this! His translations are the best!
Since people were struggling with the translation a bit I went to the website and grabbed a random paragraph for translation. To be honest my Czech is a bit rusty, but from what I can gather BaCH must be a Pharmaceutical company founded by bass players. Here's the paragraph followed by the rough translation...

To vše v několika barevných odstínech a strukturách koženky.

Dubious ointments won't heal nasty, crusty and puss filled heads, naturally.
V Royce 2005 Cream is exactly the very best prescription BaCH provides to date.
Take religiously nightly with kiwi fruit - you'll feel jazzy, cool and happy, cool like a Rickenbacker, happy like a bass player.
To feel new and refreshed order a shipment today.

A few years ago, there was a large population of bunnies in the area around our local city hall. Someone had the bright idea to capture them, neuter the males, and relocate the to a park by the river. This was a great...for the eagles, owls, hawks and coyotes.

It all becomes clear now.:wacky:

And of course they migrated from the park by the river to escape the eagles, owls, hawks and coyotes.

I'm beginning to plot the next Thunderbird project. It will either be getting the bolt-on refinished a different color or the fretless refinished a different color. Both are dark burst and a little gloomy. The bolt-on will also get a Dimarzo One installed right up at the neck whenever it gets refinished. I may also replace the Alumitone pickups in the fretless with something else. I have a pair of gold foils that might be interesting. The Alumitones actually sound very good. But.... If the bolt-on gets the love, then it will have three pickups, and the controls will be V-V-V.

As far as colors, the fretless should probably be relatively subdued. Maybe metallic green like this:

The bolt-on won't be quite as flamboyant as the Flamingo, but it could be a brighter color. Orange perhaps? Similar to this except more orange and less red:

Neither one will happen any time soon, though. Maybe next winter sometime.
