You are 110% right!Never was good at math related things. I'd get it wrong about 47% of the time. But that meant I got it right the other 63%.

Better than an economist. "Oh sure, it works in practice. But how does it work in theory?"An optimist says the glass is half full.
A pessimist says the glass is half empty.
An engineer says the glass hasn't been sized properly.
I once had a customer call me because our silicon worked to spec but his simulation didn't....I responded; "Do you call the simulator software manufacturer when the simulation works and the silicon doesn't?"....never heard from him again...Better than an economist. "Oh sure, it works in practice. But how does it work in theory?"

Couldn't tell you. I don't work in theory. I work in NYC.Better than an economist. "Oh sure, it works in practice. But how does it work in theory?"
Or a college professor. "Of course the theory works, I wrote a thesis on it".Better than an economist. "Oh sure, it works in practice. But how does it work in theory?"

It might work, but on the other hand...Better than an economist. "Oh sure, it works in practice. But how does it work in theory?"
We need to start saying more bad things about Thunderbirds. People are finding out about them, and there just aren't that many out there for sale.I feel sorry for any potential used Gibson TBird buyers out there right now. The prices are creeping up pretty high. Seems like just a year or two ago you could take your pick of several in the $1200 bracket and occasionally even see some go up for sale in the sub $1000 bracket.
- The cheapest Gibby Bird for sale on Reverb located in the USA right now is listed at nearly $1700 with shipping.
- Guitar center doesn't even have any used Gibby TBirds in stock, they used to always have several to choose from.
- Even eBay is getting tight, with only one used one priced at about $1600.
- I didn't look at Sam Ash, MusicGoRound, Gbase, Talkbass or Craigslist but I suspect it's slim pickings there as well.
Halo effect from the VP?We need to start saying more bad things about Thunderbirds. People are finding out about them, and there just aren't that many out there for sale.
