Thunderbird Club

Saw it in the theatre when it came out. Tough movie to watch at times.

I saw it in the theater when 1st out also, a couple of times. Cronenberg is all about extreme psychological drama. I've seen most all his films and have the soundtrack for Crash - which is really good. Howard Shore has been his mainstay music composer/directer for years. Like Angelo Badalamenti for David Lynch.

Yeah, there’s a guy that brought a huge amount of joy into the world! He actually got arrested for weed possession and did time (5446) before he ever smoked the stuff.
When I was a kid growing up on the central coast in CA, the LA Times was the lifeline. The music editor was Robert Hilburn. He wrote about the Jamaican scene a lot. I bought some records and fell in love with it. A few years later, the Clash copped the sound and it became mainstream. Toots was the pioneer. A true genius. May he Rest In Peace.

these are about 1k

I think they're likely very nice, I'm hoping The Bass Shop will get one in, I'd give it a try. The custom one gets me close to the Real Deal and "if" that were in the cards it would be vintage in stead of boutique.

My kid is having a few friends over for “Heck Night” (school starts Monday).

So I’m hunkered down in the garage listening to Toots & the Maytalls, stripping the finish off the Burns NR neck.

It’s a 3 piece neck, same as my Dan Armstrong copy.

Have you tried out any of the GK Fusions?

My only experience was playing through a GK Fusion - turned me off to the brand. I've heard how much everyone loves GK so maybe it was just specifically the amp I used...

I like the older ones, 600B and 400B..remember them when they were in Campbell CA when I met Bob Gallien in the early 90s and even did some stuff for them....good old days..

I had some work doing final assembly of my Factorbird fretless in Campbell in the late '90s - but the South Bay has a lot of guitar related biz's ...

This ad shows up here on TB for me. Good to know their demographic profiling is not working very well. I couldn’t afford one tire, let alone the car. But it sure looks cool.

I know the place well. If you change your mind let me know and I can probably help get you nice deal on a car there. Some of the low mile used Ferraris like the 360 Modena can be had for about the same price as a fully loaded Jeep Wrangler, of course they won't be as good off road.;)

Can you get him a good deal on a tire from this new one? That's all he wants.

And about as reliable. I’ll stick with my Subie that gets me to my fly fishing spots with no issues.
