<snip> I think that $2500 + shipping ask is, uh, call it very aspirational.

I believe so as well. My PB NR is in its forever home but if someone wanted to give me $2,500 for her, SOLD!

...and I’d go find another for $1,000 cheaper.

I won’t say I’ll never sell mine, but I wouldn’t let it go for that. 5k maybe...it took a lot of waiting for mine to find me. And there are what, only 400 PBs and 400 bursts? But who knows. Gibson could do them again. We’ll have to see what comes of that info from the Rex Brown interview.

Yeah, that made me laugh. PubMed search shows lots of examples of allergy and other problems associated with musical instruments. There is some interesting data on woodwind players and herpes. Some of the amusing names - violin chin and guitar nipple. I am guessing the guitar nipple only occurs in jazz players.

Who play topless.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Hairy Man Jazz Trio around here, if only during the Hairy Man Festival. I'll have to check.

Last before this one was the local sale only one on here that stuck around for months because the seller didn’t want to ship. I think that $2500 + shipping ask is, uh, call it very aspirational.
Just like the fact that anyone can sue-but will they win? One can ask whatever amount they want to ask, but what amount will they take.
BTW, I have a '96 Ford Aerostar w/ 348,000 miles on it. I'm asking $13,500 USD for it. Think I'll get it?:smug:

Nah. But if it were a vintage Econoline...on second thought...you couldn’t give me either one.

Well, being Thanksgiving I will follow Canadian tradition. I'll watch Canadian football.

Canadian football is much like American football, except plays are called alternately in French and English and a native land acknowledgement is read for each turn-over.

I'll be watching the Roughriders vs. the Rough-riders. Others will be watching the Rough Riders vs. the RoughRiders.

Thanks, that's good to know. I couldn't tell anything from the pics other than it might make my fingers stubby.
The rash is not red. It is a thickening and drying of the skin with some flaking. It is not relieved by moisturizer as it is an immune reaction, but topical steroid application will improve the rash. As the scales get thicker, cracking can occur and lead to bleeding. And with cracked skin, stubborn infections are possible.

I'm allergic to poly-isobutylene - commonly used in adhesives for bandaids and it makes those rubbery pens grippy. If I use one of those rubbery pens for 15-20 minutes, I end up with a rash on my hand. If I use it for a full day, I end up with thick plaques that crack and bleed.

And the stuff is everywhere. Notably, it is used in the plastic in cars - especially steering wheels. I can only buy cars with leather steering wheels.

Well too rich for my blood. I didn't want to go over $13,000. Maybe next time. But wait. Is that shipped CONUS?
