They’re always go for these knobs
My two year old son is the same way.
Well, he mentioned it in a nineties issue of "Guitar" magazine.
But he can also be seen doing it in the music video for "Oh yeah"
I see nothing has changed here. Cool, something is still good!
Ahem.Tag team?..
A computer is just a busy box for adults.I put a knob-heavy piece of old HP test gear on the playroom floor for the littles. I put am ancient QWERTY keyboard with it. Keeps the 1s and 2s busy for long stretches of time!
Great pics Thx..... your claw looks more Gibson like while mine looks more BaCH like...also notice the alloy finish as opposed to chrome as in yours....kinda dig the look but don’t know how stock it may be...not that it matters....I think mine is a '77, the pup, rings and tuners are really dull, polished and the bridge/claw were chrome. Mine has a @godofthunder59 Badbird Bridge and cover on it now - The only bass I've ever replaced a 3 point on.

Chuck, Unfortunately for @godofthunder59 the bass in your link sold several months ago. It's the one I bought. For some reason I guess they still have the listing up. It's a screaming 1977 worth every penny of the asking price and then some (even though I paid less than that). Actually, I'm as surprised as our Queen that Scott doesn't already have one.Tag team?..

The tailpiece on mine is also from Scott, it's much more faithful in appearance to a Gibson, not squared off. I kept my Greco parts and the Bad Bird required no modifications so I could set it back to original pretty quickly should I wish. The alloy finish on yours is unusual, haven't seen it before now.

Try the "SG & EB Bass Club." Dunno 'bout parts, but you might get an answer. Is there a thread like this for EB-3’s?
I need a selector switch 3 position switch plate.
Mine is G777282. The case looks the same as yours. I have all the original case candy including a Greco brand leather strap, a plush cloth sack to put the bass in, an instruction guide and all the standard tools.Mine didn't have that nice logo cloth, just a very vibrant orange fuzzy fabric case of lighter construction than a Gibson. My bass is otherwise just like yours SN J778148
I think what you need is a Mallory KNB 373 aluminum dial plate. They might have something here that works...Is there a thread like this for EB-3’s?

Moving trauma. I have no time for temptation and it doesn't phase me. I tell myself....
Oh my goodness! That's unnerving. We closed on our buy smoothly. We'll see how it goes on our well. Reading your post almost made me soil myself. Glad it's all over for you.We had a heck of a time selling our 1911 house in Western Colorado. Everything was set to go with one offer, but she ended up backing out after the inspection because of some cracks in the brick fascia. We had a structural engineer's report from a couple of years earlier which said that the cracks were NOT structural, but apparently the inspector convinced the buyer that he knew more than a structural engineer. We got an updated report from the same engineer after the first buyer backed out, and he just laughed when I told him the buyer had been worried that things had moved since the last report. He said "this house hasn't moved in 80 years".
We got another low-ball offer after the first deal fell through, but that guy never even responded to our counter-offer. Then we got an offer from someone and had everything set to go, but the title company had to delay the closing because they were backed up. Then the buyer's lender wanted more info from her, even though she was pre-approved, because "the guidelines changed". Ummm... don't they go by the guidelines that were in place when she got PRE-APPROVED???? She ended up changing lenders and we FINALLY closed on the sale a couple of weeks ago. It was a great relief, since the new city is much more expensive than where we were. Now we can dump that money into our current mortgage and cut our payment way down. Whew!
Correct indeed.Pre-approved is not actually an approval. It is more of a spending guideline. The lender still has to approve of the deal as a whole before releasing the funds. It is a matter of risk management........
I have been on the lookout for one, trying not to buy at the moment ( having limited success with that). The Epi Vintage Pros have sort of quelled my desire to buy reverse birds but your raving about the Greco has not gone unnoticed.I'm surprised you don't have one! They are fantastic basses for the money, the pickups just kill. Buy, buy, buy!
