Thank you. Had a fun day. Polished frets, cleaned the fretboard, gave the rest a polish, tweaked the TR (it really was in great playing shape and really clean, but I went through my new bass ritual anyway) and just enjoyed it.Looks great! Looks like someone is going to have a Thunderbird Christmas!
I think this is the first year in I can't recall how long not getting anything bass related. So vicariously I'm sharing your joy!

That is an impressive looking bass. Works on so many levels. Congrats!So I just got a good deal and decided to buy myself a Christmas/I Survived This Awful poopie Show of a Year gift. Not a Thunderbird, but the closest I've been able to find to a 5 string Thunderbird without paying way more than I'm willing to for it:
